This year for the ninth time the area near the Hotel and Terma Bania will turn into a host stage for the best bands of the Polish music scene, folk, and cover groups, and also local young bands. Admission to all events of the Culture on Bania is free."Culture on the Bania over the past eight editions, has earned a reputation of the festival that you simply have to attend. The organization of such a big number of cultural events and concerts is definitely a challenge, but thanks to that we can offer the guests of Bania complex, as well as tourists spending vacation in Białka Tatrzańska, or in the whole Podhale region, such a powerful dose of entertainment." - says Tomasz Rzadkosz, coordinator of the Culture on Bania.
The events' schedule of the Culture on Bania is impressive, everyone will find something for themselves, almost every day of summer holidays. On the Stage of the Culture on Bania will perform such stars as the Big Cyc band (29/06/2019), promoting with this year's tour the 30th anniversary of its activity, and the Tulia band (10/08/2019), which currently holds the top position on the Polish folk music scene, and at the same time it's not bad successes of the music getting to the mainstream. But, one by one ...
On Tuesdays on the Bania slope, we will wait for fans of a good movie in a part of the Summer Cinema on the Slope series (every Tuesday of holidays, 9:00 PM).
We chose Wednesdays as the day of the Highland Feast in Góralska Restaurant to the highlander band and bandit chieftain Jędrek's tales (every Wednesday of holidays, 7:00 PM).
This year's novelty is Unplugged Thursdays, that is meetings with jazz / blues / ethno / pop music in unobvious, acoustic arrangements (every Thursday of holidays, 8:00 PM).
On Fridays, the Culture on Bania will take us back in time thanks to concerts of cover bands. During this year's holidays you will hear among others hits of Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Bryan Adams, ABBA, Tina Turner and AC/DC. The culmination of this project will be a spectacular performance of the one of the best European bands covering Pink Floyd, on 23 August 2019 (every Friday of holidays, 8:00 PM).
The scene of the Culture on Bania on Saturdays will resonate with sounds of the best music from 6:30 PM, thanks to the concerts of young bands from Podhale. At 8:00 PM every Saturday, awaits you a musical event of the week, that is folk concerts of the artists such as Trebunie Tutki, Future Folk, Redlin, Balkan Scream, Krzikopa, Folk Power and Ciupaga. Every Sunday at 5:00 PM, Beti & Bobass will play family concerts, and at the special concert on 21 July, a contemporary star of the music directed to the younger audience will perform for us - the hit boysband 4Dreamers!
One cannot forget the accompanying events of the Culture on Bania - Hunt Run music running festival (4-7 July), running picnic Goniacka (12-13 July), and Sport & Fun Festival (27-28 July). We also encourage you to participate in the most important music and highlanders' traditions festival in Podhale - The Białczański Feast (3-4 August) with competitions for the "Ceper" (Lowlander Gentleman), "Ceperka" (Lowlander Lady), and "Harnaś" (Bandit Chieftain) of the Year, and concerts, among others of Grubson, and Perfect.
The organizer of the 9th edition of the Culture on Bania is Terma Bania, a festival is co-organized by Hotel Bania, and the Commune of Bukowina Tatrzańska also participates in the financing.
