At the bottom station of the lift no. 4, two full-size grounds were prepared. Volleyball on the Snow is a young and developing discipline. It is expected that in the coming years there will be a steady development that can eventually lead to the inclusion of the Volleyball on Snow in the Winter Olympic program, and thus will result in a path similar to the one evolved by beach volleyball in the 1990s.

Volleyball on the Snow is fast, vibrant and spectacular, and actions during matches are exciting and blockbuster, mainly because teams consist of three players.

The Snow Volleyball is a variant having several important elements consorting with each other, mix of which makes the discipline unique among team games. The rules of the game are similar to those of the beach volleyball, but there are a few differences. According to the latest rules of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), each team consists of maximum 4 players (including one substitute), the set is won by the team that is the first to score 15 points, gaining at least two points advantage. The match is won by the team that wins two sets.

Twelve teams entered the men's tournament, and five teams took part in the women's competition. The gentlemen were playing for two days and finally the title of the Polish Champions was won by Karol Szczepanik, Michał Korycki, Piotr Groszek and Rafał Hasiak representing the team "SVT". The title of vice-champions was won by Kamil Kulbacki, Gabriel Feldman, and Maciej Mata from the team "The Raging Badgers". The third place went to the "Wilczyn Commune" squad composed of Michał Muszyński, Damian Nowak and Wojciech Pernak.
