A highland summer full of music, tradition and unforgettable emotions. On one of the August weekends, Kotelnica Białczańska transforms into the vibrant heart of Podhale - all thanks to Kotelnica Summer Festival, known to many as the Białka Festival. This unique event has been continuously attracting locals and tourists seeking an authentic highland atmosphere since 1996.
Music
Every year, stars of Polish music appear on the festival stage, along with regional ensembles performing dances in traditional costumes and folk singing. It is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Podhale culture, listen to the sounds of traditional instruments and feel the true power of folklore.
But that's not all! The festival also features unique competitions that have been generating great excitement for years
- "Ceper" and "Ceperka" (Lowlander Gentleman and Lady) of the Year elections
- "Harnaś" (Bandit Chieftain) of the Year competition
- Sports competitions with a touch of humour and rivalry

Every year we broaden the horizons and expand the programme with new attractions. For several years, a permanent element of Kotelnica Summer Festival has been HUNT RUN - iconic runs on the slopes of Kotelnica Białczańska (more information and registration at huntrun.pl). Football and volleyball tournaments also provide sporting excitement.
You can also expect military shows and competitions, a relaxation zone with sun loungers and a view of the Tatras, a gastro zone - inn, food trucks with regional cuisine and street food, Tuning Car Show - for car fans, Moto Show - for motorcycle fans, bouncy castles, a traditional highland bonfire, kids' zones, and campfire.
