Love for Snow – from riders for riders
In an era dominated by FIS competitions and World Cup events, rider-driven sessions have become rare. As Szczepan Karpiel-Bułecka explains, together with the Kotelnica team they decided to bring back the old-school spirit by organizing a Valentine’s Jam Session for invited top Polish freeskiers and snowboarders. Spectators are warmly welcome — everyone who loves snow, skiing and snowboarding is invited to watch.
Young guns & legends
The lineup includes representatives of the new generation of Polish freeski and snowboard teams, including Igor Truszkowski — the first Pole to land a snowboard triple cork. Legendary names will also appear, such as Marek Doniec and Marek Sąsiadek, Poland’s Olympic representative from Salt Lake City 2002.
Live commentary will be provided by Sebastian “Herman” Hermanowski — a legend of the Polish snowboard scene whose voice has accompanied the country’s biggest freestyle events for years.
Jam Session & Best Style
The competition will take place on a jump built for the upcoming FIS European Cup held as part of the Garmin Winter Sports Festival. Riders will compete in a Jam Session format in the following categories:
Best Style
Best Trick
Best Rail
There will also be a barbecue and great music provided by the Red Bull Chojrak crew.
Prizes for the top riders are sponsored by Garmin, Oakley, K2 and Tatry Super Ski.
