On 2 February 2019 OSCYP Contest will come again to the Kotelnica slope in Białka Tatrzańska. Together with it, the best competitors in Poland who will fight using snow tricks. We already know the obstacles on which they will compete in the coming season.

The longest organized snowboard competition in Poland is a must in the calendar of all winter sports enthusiasts. Competitors from all over the country come to Białka Tatrzańska to take part in the most important event of the local snowboard subculture. A year ago, Wojtek "Gniazdo" (Nest) Pawlusiak triumphed, taking the championship from Rafał Sypień. Despite attractive prizes and a prestigious title, for participants of the OSCYP Contest, the most important is the opportunity to meet the lovers of discipline and a common ride in the specially created snowpark.

"OSCYP is our Polish holiday of snowboarding" says Wojtek Pawlusiak, multiple podium winner of the competition. "Polish riders do not have many opportunities to integrate and ride together. These types of opportunities help us develop, since while riding with people on a similar level one can be easily inspired to make new tricks."

The competition is also a chance for young snowboarders to present their skills in front of older colleagues and potential sponsors. During the tenth edition, the greatest surprise was the skill level of the 13-year-old Krzysztof Owczarek. Teenage representative of Warsaw rode together with professionals proving his membership in the group of leading riders in Poland.

The place for organizing OSCYP is from the very beginning the Kotelnica slope in Białka Tatrzańska. Excellent conditions and facilities offered by the owners of the resort allow the builders of snow obstacles from the Park Pirates team to create an interesting and demanding surface to conduct snow competition in snowboard tricks. This year, their project provides for building a ski jump for performing big air tricks, as well as many obstacles to slide on pipes and handrails (jibbing). Who will make the most of their figures and win the title of the eleventh OSCYP Contest champion? We will see on 2 February!
