A Record-Breaking Moskol at Kotelnica! Join Us for an Official Polish Record Attempt
Can tradition make history? On 9 August 2026, you'll have the chance to find out during Kotelnica Summer Festival!

On this special day, Kotelnica Białczańska will host an official attempt to set the Polish Record for the Largest Moskol - a unique event celebrating the rich culinary heritage of the Podhale region.
The record-breaking moskol will be prepared by renowned regional chef Sylwester Lis together with the team from Kotelnica od Kuchni restaurant. Moskol, a traditional potato flatbread, has been a beloved part of local cuisine for generations and remains one of Podhale's most iconic dishes.
The record attempt will take place on 9 August from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM as one of the highlights of the Moskol Festival, held during Kotelnica Summer Festival.
Visitors can look forward to much more than the record attempt itself. The programme includes culinary competitions, tastings, regional attractions and plenty of opportunities to experience the warm hospitality and traditions of Podhale.
