JOY RIDE is coming to Kotelnica! A huge MTB weekend on 21-23 August
Get your bikes, helmets and plenty of energy ready - Garmin Joy Ride Małopolska Festival is coming to Białka Tatrzańska for the very first time! From 21 to 23 August 2026, Kotelnica Białczańska will become the centre of gravity for the MTB community.
Three days packed with riding, racing, bike testing, great people and true festival atmosphere are ahead of us. Whether you're coming to fight for the best time, hit your favourite Bike Park lines or simply watch some of the best riders in action - Kotelnica is the place to be this weekend!
10 competitions and three days of MTB action
The festival programme has something for experienced competitors as well as riders who simply want to enjoy a great weekend on two wheels.
At Kotelnica, riders will compete in as many as 10 disciplines, including:
- Downhill
- Enduro
- Pumptrack
- Dual Slalom
- E-Bike Race
- Longest Jump
- Airbag Best Trick
- Best Whip Contest
- Bunny Hop Contest
- Chainless Downhill
We're especially excited about the Dual Slalom - riders will race head-to-head on a brand-new course built especially for the festival, the first track of its kind in Poland!
More than racing
JOY RIDE is about much more than competition. The festival village will feature a bike expo and equipment testing, while additional attractions, training sessions, guided rides and contests will take place throughout the weekend.
There will also be plenty for younger riders, including the Kids Arena, a special bike playground for children. And, of course, it will be a great opportunity to meet people who share the same passion for bikes and mountains.
And when the last rider leaves the course? The festival doesn't stop - parties for participants are planned for both Friday and Saturday night.
How do we kick things off? With a mass descent from Kotelnica!
On Friday at 12:00, the festival will officially begin with the Bike Park Kotelnica Megavalanche - a mass descent kicking off an entire weekend of MTB action.
And from there… the action continues almost non-stop until Sunday afternoon.
Race. Cheer. Ride. Just be there!
You don't have to compete to experience the atmosphere of JOY RIDE. Entry to the festival area and bike expo is free, so we're inviting spectators, families and everyone who wants to get closer to the world of MTB and experience the atmosphere of a major mountain bike festival.
Participation in competitions and bike testing are subject to additional fees.
