Before you join the fun, here's a little lesson in the local dialect!
A Ceper is what Highlanders call a visitor from outside the mountains, while Ceperka is the female form. And a Harnaś? He's the fearless leader of the Highlanders - brave, strong and always ready for a challenge.
Now that you know the basics, it's time to prove yourself in the Highland Challenges and see if you have what it takes to earn one of the festival's most honourable titles!
Highland Challenges - Become Mr. Ceper or Ms. Ceperka of the Year 2026
Take on the challenge and put your skills to the test in the Highland Challenges! Simply collect your competition card at the Race Office, complete all the tasks and return it by 4:15 PM.
Participants with the best overall results will qualify for the Grand Final, where they will compete for the prestigious titles of Mr. Tourist of the Year 2026 and Ms. Tourist of the Year 2026.
Fantastic prizes await the finalists and winners, including ski equipment, 7-day ski passes, restaurant vouchers, tickets to the thermal baths, and plenty of other gifts from the Festival Partners.
Win Prizes Every Hour!
You don't have to wait until the Grand Final to win. Throughout the day, the best result achieved each hour will be rewarded with fantastic festival prizes, so it's worth joining the competition as early as possible and giving it your best all day long.
Train with the Polish Army at Kotelnica
The challenges don't stop there! Pick up your second competition card for "Train with the Polish Army at Kotelnica" and take on a series of activities prepared by soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces.
These challenges run alongside the Highland Challenges, so you can take part in both competitions at the same time, giving yourself even more chances to win. Plus, every hour you can also win tickets to the thermal baths!

Collect both competition cards at the Race Office and start competing from the very beginning of the event. The earlier you join, the more opportunities you'll have to win hourly prizes and secure your place in the Grand Final.
